What the flying penguin hell. Ok. I’ve been stammering obviously with updates due to school and other explanatory stuff I could exhaust, but would not like to. However, during my time where I decide to dedicate free time to gaming rather than doing work early, studying early, anything directly beneficial to my education – I decide to play Final Fantasy XII. Remember how I was like, “I Like It?” Well, right now that statement doesn’t stand forthright.
So it took me years to get through the temple since I don’t use a FAQ, didn’t feel like reading and fought zombies upon zombies before I equipped that stupid Dawn Shard depleting my MP to 0. I did not know how, at all, to raise the stupid sword-leg-thingie and I finally decided to say “Hey FFXII. Fuck you.” Used the strategy guide someone gave me, got passed it, and voilá. Now I went to go fight the Judge only to notice fighting zombies means I fail at grinding because of the lack of EXP gained (but selling them off was great). So I got pwnd.
I thought – hey, maybe I didn’t do something right during that battle. And I got pwnd again. And again. Oh, not to mention that my characters have a 7 level difference (officially), where Vaan, Baltier and Basch are at 30, and the wimmens I haven’t raked in too much LP for them early on (hence my reluctance to use them now since they have some pretty shitty equipment).
So I decided – hey, why don’t I go do some Hunts. I got pwnd by a .. dragon…. I don’t know what it’s called, but for record, I beat the first Wyrm. And it’s not like this dragon sucks – I just don’t have Dispel which means all of my strong attacks are weak and I’ll just die. Not to mention that the gambits equipped didn’t execute as fast as I wanted. I noticed I couldn’t use Fran, Penelo (who is awesome: once I get Penelo to 30, I’ll be using her instead of Balthier) or Ashe because they were raped (notice how my language changes when I speak of women).
So I’ve just been dying in FFXII, and I do give a shit hence my speediness in discussing this horrible experience I had with the game. I normally don’t go onto other games, but I’ll make an exception since it’s an unfinished game.
I’m on Wild aRMS 4. I fucking hate WA4. But. It’s better than FFXII in the frustration category at the moment. Just passed Calucion Pass, and I guess I’ll update on my progress, but definitely not in depth since I had this game lingering around at that point almost two years.
